Natural Vitamin E is a mixture of 8 isomeres, whereof 4 belong to the group of Tocopherols and 4 to the group of Tocotrienols. While the use of Tocopherols in dietary supplements and cosmetics is common, the positive effects of Tocotrienols are appreciated only recently.

Vitamin E TPGS is a water-soluble derivative of natural Vitamin E. It was originally developed for the treatment of Vitamin E deficiency in patients with malabsorption. It has unique properties and a long-established safety profile in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods and animal feed.

Lutein is next to zeaxanthin, the most abundant carotenoid, and belongs to the group of xanthophylls. It is found in green leafy vegetables, e.g., spinach and kale, and as ester in some fruits like orange and mango. It can also be found in particularly high concentration in the flowers of Marigold (Tagetes erecta L.). In foods and cosmetics, it is used as a colourant and natural anti-oxidant.

Coenzyme Q10S is a fat-soluble coenzyme present in most animal cells. It plays a key role in the electron transport chain of aerobic respiration, which generates and stores energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). It also serves several important functions as an antioxidant, protecting lipids and proteins from oxidation, acting as a free-radical scavenger, and even helping to regenerate other antioxidants such as vitamin E.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a long-chain n-3, or omega-3, fatty acid which is a primary structural component of the human nervous and visual systems, as well as other organs. DHA significantly alters many basic properties of cells and cell membranes, including cell signaling, permeability, and protein activity, effectively rendering membranes and the gaps between cells more fluid.
