Erbotin® - a highly functional pea protein isolate with a protein content above 80%.

Erbotin® is a natural, vegetable raw material with high nutritional properties. It offers an extraordinary amino acids profile compared to whey protein. Therefore, it is a wholesome protein that is particularly suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those with allergy against lactose and gluten. It has a high concentration of branched-chain amino acids. These amino acids are important in preventing malnutrition, which can occur during a vegetarian diet.

Erbotin® is free of gluten, lactose, cholesterol and is 100% GMO-free. Thus, it is a nutritious raw material contributing to a healthy and balanced diet.

Erbotin® can be used in a variety of food and nutritional products including protein enriched beverages and protein shakes, soups, sauces, baked goods, protein bars, instant meals and meat replacement products. In water, it forms a stable dispersion and gives a creamy texture without palpable particles.

Erbotin® is available in a wide range of different grades, all of them with an excellent sensoric profile. This makes it possible to find the right type for any kind of application, independent of the taste profile of the finished product, both sweet and savoury.

Erbotin® a pea protein with a variety of quality features

Erbotin® PF is our standard grade pea protein isolate and is readily dispersible. It has excellent emulsifying and viscosity forming properties to give the desired stability and texture. Erbotin® PF is particularly useful in stabilising water-in-oil emulsions and is used e.g. in beverages, powdered drink formulations, instant meals, soups and sauces and pastries and breads.

Erbotin® ORG is organic certified according to EU regulation No. 834/2007. It has the same properties as the standard grade Erbotin® PF and can be utilised in all types of organic certified products.

Erbotin® GF differs from Erbotin® PF in the particle size. Erbotin® GF is an agglomerated powder and offers excellent flow properties and dispersibility. It is perfectly suited for powdered drinks and processes where good flowability is needed.

Erbotin® DF is especially well dispersible in water and gives a smooth texture. It can be used in all kinds of applications where good solubility without formation of lumps is key.

Erbotin® WRF forms very stable emulsions because of its high water retention capacity. It is intended for the use in applications, where the functional aspects of pea protein isolate are of importance, like in salad sauces and meat or vegetarian sausage products.

Erbotin® Extruded was specifically developed for meat replacement applications. It is available in different forms and sizes including flakes, small and large granules.
